Crypto Profit Calculator
Calculate net profit, fees, ROE, and break-even price for long and short crypto futures trades.
How to Calculate Crypto Profit After Fees
Crypto profit tells you what a trade actually earns after fees. This calculator is built for long and short crypto futures positions on Binance, Bybit, and OKX, so you can estimate the net result before placing the order.
Use break-even price to see how far the market needs to move before the trade becomes profitable. Use ROE to compare trades with different leverage levels. Gross profit alone is not enough, because fees can turn a small win into a net loss.
Net profit is calculated as Net Profit = Gross Profit - Total Fees. Gross profit for a long position is (Exit Price - Entry Price) × Quantity; for a short position it is (Entry Price - Exit Price) × Quantity. ROE is (Net Profit / Initial Margin) × 100%. Initial margin is Entry Price × Quantity / Leverage.
Use this tool alongside our position size calculator for trade planning, or estimate your liquidation risk with the liquidation price calculator. If you are averaging into a position, compare the result with the DCA calculator and average down calculator. For perpetual futures, include funding rate costs; to compare trading costs across exchanges, try the exchange fee calculator.
Crypto Profit Calculator — FAQ
What is crypto profit?
Crypto profit is the amount you gain on a trade after costs. Gross profit shows the price move only, while net profit subtracts fees so you can see the real result.
How do you calculate net profit after fees?
Net profit = Gross Profit - Total Fees. For a long trade, gross profit is (Exit Price - Entry Price) × Quantity. For a short trade, gross profit is (Entry Price - Exit Price) × Quantity.
How is ROE calculated on a futures trade?
ROE = (Net Profit / Initial Margin) × 100%. It measures return against the actual margin you put into the trade, not the full position size.
What is a break-even price?
Break-even price is the price where your trade's net profit is zero after fees. At that point, your price move has fully covered entry and exit costs.
